FACE PORTRAITS

Face portraits explores masks as a merge with the Self. The term 'persona' as a character role playing comes from the Ancient Greece where it originally referred to masks.

This project consists in the use of wire masks that allow the performer face to be seen. That supposes a contrast but at the same time a fusion between the mask and the face, making these become one.

It explores the transformation of faces in order to make the performer as well as the audience  experience a character mutation.
